Traust, Oracle, and the Twin Cities Oracle User Group (TCOUG) are hosting a full day of Oracle APEX learning on April 30, 2026, at the McNamara Alumni Center at the University of Minnesota.
The day includes two opportunities to learn and connect with the Oracle APEX community:
- Executive Roundtable (7:30–9:00 AM)
A presentation from Oracle APEX leadership on the direction of the platform - Oracle APEX Bootcamp (10:30 AM–6:00 PM)
A hands-on introduction to building applications with APEX
Both sessions are free to attend, but seating is limited.
Oracle APEX Bootcamp
10:30 AM – 6:00 PM
The afternoon session shifts to a hands-on Oracle APEX Bootcamp designed for developers and technical professionals who want to learn how to build applications with the platform.
This beginner-friendly session will be led by members of the Oracle APEX product team, along with practitioners from the APEX community.
Topics will include:
- Core APEX development concepts
- Building applications quickly with the APEX framework
- User experience and mobile capabilities
- Debugging and application security
- Emerging capabilities including APEX and Generative AI

Executive Roundtable
7:30–9:00 AM
Start the day with a morning session for technology leaders and architects working within the Oracle ecosystem.
Led by Marc Sewtz, Senior Director of Software Development for Oracle APEX, and Jayson Hanes, Senior Principal Product Manager for Oracle APEX, this session will focus on how APEX is shaping the future of enterprise application development within Oracle environments. Attendees will gain insight into the platform’s latest advancements—including AI-driven development capabilities—and what they mean for organizations looking to move faster, reduce complexity, and extend the value of their existing Oracle investments.
Breakfast will be provided.
