Inside Sales Representative

The Inside Sales Representative will conduct outreach to target companies, determining the needs of those prospects, and offering solutions through Traust’s custom software development and ERP consulting services.

Position Summary

The Inside Sales Representative will conduct outreach to target companies via phone, email, and LinkedIn, determining the needs of those prospects, and offering solutions to those needs through Traust’s custom software development and ERP consulting services. As a frontline representative of our premium software consulting firm, you will be selling our first-class services to medium and large companies with multiple decision makers. You will meet and exceed sales goals, establish ongoing relationships with prospective clients, and manage sales activities to produce a growing client base.

What You’ll Do

  • Connect with target accounts through strategic email, cold calling, social media, and other channels.
  • Research target companies using internal notes, company website, and other public information.
  • Effectively use Salesforce and LinkedIn to execute daily workflows.
  • Overcome objections through consultative selling.
  • Negotiate customized solutions based on client needs.
  • Set initial meetings for Outside sales representatives.
  • Understand Traust’s value proposition and competitive advantages in order to effectively differentiate and sell Traust’s value in a competitive market.
  • Demonstrate understanding of how our services fit into prospects’ business operations and match their expressed needs, in order to influence decisions and gain commitment.
  • Connect Traust’s proposed solutions to business benefits and how they will impact the prospect’s business/operations.
  • Track and maintain sales data within our Salesforce CRM system.
  • Consistently achieve/exceed our sales goals.
  • Assist with the creation of RFPs, proposals, quotes, sales presentations, and other content necessary to win new business.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field.
  • 3–5 years (max) of quota-based sales experience with proven success developing new accounts in a B2B environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work at scale, prospecting via outbound calling, emailing, social media, and various other marketing channels.
  • Proven consultative solution selling skills, including the ability to articulate a value proposition in a clear manner.
  • Ability to prospect new logos.
  • Ability to upsell new solutions with existing customers.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Hear and talk on a phone head set for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce or similar CRM software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics and comfort in a metrics-driven organization.
  • Drive, flexibility, willingness to learn, and sales aptitude.
  • Excellent customer service skills/mentality.
  • Prior experience with technology and consultative sales preferred.
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States.

Salary & Benefits

$30K base salary with an additional $24K based on meeting quota. Uncapped commission potential above quota.
